Deleting .WMV Blanks Out Screen

I mean...what? Basically, whenever I try to delete .wmv files, the screen will blank out for 2 seconds and then come back. Just .wmv files. I have experienced no other issues other than that (in games or video playback) and It's not really an problem, but it is bizarre enough I figured I would post about it. It's been happening since I built my system a few weeks ago. E6400 with a PNY 7900GS.

Any ideas?
