deinoMPI could not be started

I'm having issues updating to the newest SMP core (mine expired in early August... I know, I've been a slacker). I have tried uninstalling deinoMPI completely and reinstalling, but to no avail.


I am getting the following error:
The DeinoMPI process manager service service is starting.
DeinoMPI process manager service service could not be started.

The service did not report an error.


any help would be great... missing my quad core points. :mad:

Use these instruction to install the other smp client and keep in mind none of them like being installed as a service;)

DeinoPM *IS* a service, not the F@H client. I remember seeing this issue and this has to do with some permission issue. Follow the link posted by BillR to the letter ;)

 
MPICH did work, thanks! Now I need to get around to getting my 2nd 8800GT folding... I wish it were possible in SLI.
