Dedicated Nvidia for Phys-x

I have a AMD 890FX motherboard with single GTX480 pulling graphics duties.

I know AMD doesn't do SLI, but could I use one of my older NVIDIA cards in a 2nd PCI slot to dedicate to Phys-x processing?

IMO, it's not worth it unless you have another 400 series card, as your going to see minimal gains if any at all.
