finally picked out my components (all from newegg of course) for my A64 upgrade. Before I order it though i wanted to get everyone's opinions (so i can be saved from being screwed). here it is:

Athlon 64 2800+ retail
PMI 2x256mb PC3500 ram
ABit kv8 pro

that's all that is new, here's what is going in there from my old comp:

TDK 4x DVD-RW
MSI GeforceFX 5600
80gb Maxtor, 40gb WD HDDs
450 watt PSU
