This is just something that I saw in person the other day @ work.
I work for a consulting firm that gets contracted out by...er..hmm..
how to say the name *cough* deathstar *cough* manufacturer.
Anyway..we're at one of their customers sites, checking drives and boards.
I get to one machine that sees the hdd in bios but won't boot.
Check the drive.
IBM deskstar.
Listen closely....*click*click*click*..etc etc..
out of 300 machines we found 12 I believe to have deskstars with defective drives.
Just thought I'd throw this up..
should have taken pics...but oh well.
