got my vx2025wm three weeks ago and noticed no dead/stuck pixel by using Dead Pixel Buddy.. but.. this morning right after i turned it on i saw a white one right in the center at eye level. it has no visible color, and it's most noticeble on blue background where the pixel looks white. i have not touch, moved, or otherwise done anything to the screen. room temp is normal. this naughty pixel just came out of nowhere!

is that normal? guess my question is, how do i prevent more stuck pixel from appearing? btw, i had one other person checked for pixel when it first arrived, so not likely that i just didnt catch it the first time..

That's a "lit pixel" not a dead one. I have one blue one at the bottom of my screen.

As far as I know though, there isn't any way to prevent them.

Try massaging it. Sometimes if they appear like that massaging it will make it come back to life.

One of my 3007's had one in the upper right. It just appeared one day about 4 weeks after I got it. I turned the panel off and let it sit for a while, then took one of those Oakley bags and applied a bit of pressure on it and turned the panel back on. I held it there for about 30 seconds and when I stopped, it was gone. It's 50/50 it went away because of that or because it just did.

alright, i looked at it a bit closer just now, and it appears to be a 'Lit' pixel as Addicted suggested. it has no visible color and is only noticeable on white, or navy blue background.. i tried a couple methods, UDPixe, flashing vid, rubbing, to no avail :(

guess the only thing i can do is ignore it.. oh well, just hope i dont get a bunch more down the road.

Try making something in flash that flashes all the colors rapidly, and then move it over the spot, leave it for a few hours.

Make sure the flashing thing is fast enough to cause seizures. Then you know it's good.
