Well I just recieved my NeoPower 480 from newegg today. Take out my old psu, pop in the antec follow the instructions plug everything in, double, triple checked and everything.
Push power on my case. Nothing, so i'm like what the heck. check all the cords again, they seem to be fine. Read the manual again. Everything in right place. But nothing powers. So I let out a warrior cry and take it out and pop in my old PSU works fine. Then I laugh and think i did something wrong. Take it out put back in the neo power and still nothing. Am i missing something? Do you have to plug the modular cables into a certain slot? I've tried every combo and still nothing? Could it just be dead on arrival? HELP! Thanks in advance. :confused:
 
Eh, After 5 hours I give up. I tried it every possible way. Old PSU works with out a problem. I admit defeat and have already RMA'd it back to newegg. Hopefully it was just DOA. Now another 2 week wait! Yippeeeeee :rolleyes:
 
Did you jumper the green turn on wire to any ground (black wire) on the main power connector? Just to see if it turns on outside the case?

You might have to plug a hard drive in to load it enough to turn on

Just a thought
 
It's already in the box, and shipped back to newegg. I'll try that on my next one if it is "dead"
 
Well, I got a new NeoPower back from RMA. Popped her in worked like a charm. Beautiful power supply. I just got a fuddy duddy :p Thought I would update it not to scare anyone off from the NeoPower. It truly is a nice PSU and quiet.
