Gotta admit I find this a little entertaining:
Been locked in a dead heat with Jesterium for weeks, slowly gaining then falling a little back until squeaking ahead for the first time just a day or so ago. Currently as of posting have a 11,00 point lead with almost identical ppd today so far. I clench my teeth when my teens feed their League of Legends addiction on a coupla PCs because it costs me ppd LOL!
I'd liken our little race to 2 mad sailors ripping off non-essential pieces of ship in an effort to keep the nose out front ...

I love these races, it is what keeps things interesting.

If I could get these damn 6234's to work in my TYAN board, I'd leave you in the dust. But, after that monster thread about them, it seems spicy Interlagos' are on a strict diet of Supermicro.

LOL! peeled my eyes from HFM and went to pub last nite. Was finishing my 4th 25oz budweiser (local special) when a generous soul playing pool bought a round for the house! Not a Rum guy: Beer, Wine, Beer, Whiskey, Beer and Tequila is usually stocked in the galley (mancave). Popcorn and air-popper too.

Jester14: just saw your post - it's been fun the last few weeks but I couldn't match that output once/if you got it running. It'd be like turning your sailboat into a motorboat but it's not about me - get 'er up and running for the [H]orde. Best I can do short term is try to add a few cheap GPU's in the Server and headless boxen but it's not in the budget right now. I'm happy to be back in the top 80 at least.

/ I hoist a cold one as a toast to all [H]orde Captains. Cheers!
 
One of us will hit 50 million before I get the 2P back up and running. I might pull out a couple 8800GT's and fire up some C2D's for fun.

Hell, I might even give up League of Legends for a week just to make up my deficit on you. ;)

8800GT's will prob get you 4-5K ppd. My GTS250 (9800GTX) was getting 5K ppd but its in my teens rig now and EUE pauses all the time as he doesn't have admin priviledges and the FAH GPU client won't fetch another WU when its done and its too much hassle to take the stairs to his 3rd floor room all the time to restart it. His rig is only on 16 hrs a day too. Similiar situation with my workshop PC - my other teen plays LOL on it and the FAH GPU client will stop and I lose considerable output from the 550Ti. This rig and all others on 24/7. I've also been trying out DDO lately and it seriously drags down ppd from my main PC but hey gotta have a little fun once in a while. The borg in my sig has been offline for over a month due to relocation and is rarely turned on from what I've been told so I'll probably remove it. If we leave it at the status quo I could easily see you nosing out front again, it's not like I'm leaving you in the dust or anything. After the brutal mowings we've both had from some heavy fuelers lately, I'm just glad to be back in the top 80. Next target: top 75 (again)
 
Two 8800GT's and the 10k PPD they'll give might be enough to keep neck and neck with you! :)

I've been living quite similar to you, although all gaming shut downs have been caused by either me or my wife! But top 80 on this team is something significant. And don't forget PPD ranks. We're both hovering around top 50 in that stat which is an impressive feat on this team (or any team, for that matter) with the amount of 4P's or multiple 4P's scattered around these parts!

If we all keep folding on and folding [H]ard there's no stopping this team or them tharr diseases!
