i had 2 computers to fix and they were both very messy, very slow, viruses, adware and missing files up the zing...i was getting ready to format (by the way both HDD's are very loud when accessing info) i got the error "Setup was unable to format drive C.The hard disk may be damaged...and so on" i took one drive put it in another computer of mine and formatted it and scanned it....now when i try to install windows it won't even show up in the BIOS or windows setup can't find it...i think it's dead..i think both are dead...what do you guys think?

You scanned it?

What test did you run and what was the result?

Are your jumpers set correctly? (Master or Slave)

Are all your cables completely inserted into the drive?

Are you plugged into the correct plugs on the cable for your configuation?

Come to think of it i skipped the scan cuz i just wanted to format again
