ok...so i'm planning to buy a new vid card. I want something with crazy performance something like ati 9800 xt, but since games are starting to evolve and soon to require more high end vid cards, those 128mb cards are soon to be laggness. Im looking for cards with DDRII mem. So far i've discovered ati's Fire GL 9800 pro, built for those companies that render gameware and wutnot. Tho its based off the 9800 pro card which is ok, but your paying $800. Then theres SAPHIRE, i read on newegg about the two cards they make DDRII with and the models are "Saphire 9800 pro Ultimate radeon card" which people complain that you have to have a really good cooling system because the cards gets f'ing hot, which is annoying. Then the other one is a plain Saphire 9800 pro with not as much compliance in graphics to the "ultimate". Both have DDRII mem and will be prepared for the new games to come that will ask for fast cards. THo the graphics could be a concern. Wut is better, paying $$$$ for Fire GL, or buying a Saphire that is fast but the graphics will die within 2 years, or wait it out for the new cards to come in spring???

First of all, go learn how to speak English.
Second of all, the FireGL cards are not for gaming.
Currently, more than 128MB of ram in cards is almost useless.
Id say and wait for the new cards in the spring.

If you were going to pay 800 dollars for a card....

you could buy a high end 9800 card for around 300, then a year from now buy another high end card for 300+ that would have 256MB DDRII as standard anyway.
