DDE Server Hanging on Shutdown

I'm working on a Windows ME system that when you shutdown, a DDE Server Window pops up asking to wait or End Now. What should I be looking for to keep this from coming up? This is a basic home system with no programming tools or anything like that.

I have run Norton and removed 4 viruses and run spyware tools and removed spyware. Any suggestions?

right click: my computer, then go to MANAGE -> then Services and Applications -> Services and check if you see DDE Server Window . If yes, disable it.

if you can't find it. maybe try : Start Menu -> Run -> type msconfig then in the startup tab uncheck DDE Server Window if present.

or to remove it go to: Start menu-> Run -> type regedit then enter.
do a search (CTRL+F) for DDE+Server+Window and delete the reg keys associate to it
but do it at your own risk
