I have a Rio Nitrus MP3 player and I am looking for a DC car adaptor for it (Rio does not sell one). The AC adaptor is 5.4V 2A and the outside of the plug is negative and the inside is positive.
 
You can go to radio shack and get one of their universal adapters. They have like 10 different plugs and supports different voltages by adjusting the switches.
