:( Remember when I talked about me frying my processor? Guess what, it wasn't my fault after all, how do I know? Because my bastard PSU just murdered another 3500!!! I got my A8R-MVP working just fine, then to do some benchmarks I put it in my previous A8N-E, it booted just fine and all, and then it turns off, and the same shit that happened last time happened again!

I got a new PSU from work (I got a Antec 550W Truepower II from work for $50, w00t w00t for PC Demos ;) ) for $50, I tested it out on both the A8R-MVP and the A8N-E, and the poor processor couldn't take the electrical surges. I talked to AMD about it, and they've decided to go ahead and send me a new one once they get my dead Processor. (I stayed within the warranty this time and I mean to the letter).

In short I'll NEVER use a Aspire PSU ever again.

WHY!!!!! WHY!!! WHY use a Aspire? Every says they are horrible. Well, Gl with the new PSU.

Cause I bought it cause I was broke and needed one :(, I was planning to replace it this month too.

Well at least they're gonna replace it for you. It'd suck to be poor and have to buy a new psu and cpu. I just paid $75 after rebate for my TP2 550 watt. It's for my spare comp though.... my main system has an ocz powerstream :).

No-name PSU's suck! I know tonnes of people who have Athlon XP's and Athlon 64's. They periodically get blue screens and ask me for advice. When I tell them it's their cheap ass PSU, they don't believe me. I can never figure that out, why ask for advice if you're not willing to listen to it. Anyhow, they usually change said PSU, and low and behold, the problem mysteriously goes away! :D

The response I've always heard is "But this one is 4xx-5xx watts, it should be fine", followed by them sticking their head in the sand.

That's what I typically hear at work. I bought it for a temporary replacement, I hadn't planned on using it aslong as I did. I dissambelled and threw it away last night, kept the casing though, may be used in some kind of mod.
