I am getting the Black Micro Radiator for my 80mm fan opening in the rear of my case. I have a couple of questions, the hose size is 3/8... is that going to make a hard difference? My Asus probe tellings me my processor is idling at 32C, am I going to see lower temps with the water setup? My problem is with the case oepn its 32c, soon as i close the case up, it will go up 8-10 degrees, and there isn't any room left for fans. I have all the possible locations used. I don't want to get a high speed fan, i am trying to advoid noise.

I've run a micro with an undervolted fan and it's just fine if you don't care about pushing your overclocks too much. You can get it pretty quiet. Because the prices differences aren't too bad for much bigger and better radiators though, I'd still urge you to consider getting like a JR-120 and a *very* quiet 120mm fan :) You'll be happy.

don't be afraid to mod a radiator. There was a project page on the bonneville around here somewhere.

I would modify the case, but it is a wavemaster, and it is already so nice, I would hate to cut it up... Do you think it will make it more efficent if I get a big pump that will pump a lot of water, like 300-400 Gallons an hour? what size shouldf I shoot for, any pump recomendations?

you may or may not get LOWER temps with water cooling. the thing with water is your LOAD temp will decrease. so you wont be noticing a huge diff in idle temp, but your load wont get sky high any more.

as far as tubing diameter. 1/2" tubing gives best flow rates and performance, but 3/8 for a moderate setup will do just fine.

also i definitly dont reccomend an 80mm rad. get a 120mm rad. 80 is just too small IMO. even for a moderate WC system. unless you use 2 of them in paralell, and that will kill flow rates with 3/8" tubing.

i suggest the following.

120mm RAD with 120mm 80CFM+ fan.
1/2" ID tubing.
hydor L30 317GPH pump
blocks of your choice.

have fun and good luck!

Well i have a problem with a 120mm fan setup... i don't know where i can put a radiator of that size... i have a wavermaster case, aluminium. There is only one output, which is 80mm... The other inputs are behind my harddrives, with no room. Any Ideas?
