Has anyone else noticed that when you order a Danger Den product, it's (For me) missing something from the box, and it's sealed...

First situation:

I ordered a TDX back around February, it was packaged with an abundance of mounting hardware... Half of the TDX mount kit, and a full GPU Maze 4 mounting kit.

Second Situation:

Ordered myself a Maze 4 GPU block for my birthday in March... missing the mounting hardware...

Current (Third) Situation:

Ordered a MAG II - LE pump... missing the barbs...

What is with this? Why can't Danger Den put a bit more money into their packaging department, maybe ship the proper product as advertised... I actually thought to myself before I opened the box, it's probably missing something...

Hopefully someone at Danger Den sees this post, and tries to do something about it, it's kind of inconvenient on the consumers half, and the money they have to pay to ship out the missing parts.

It's nice to see that my Swiftech radiator came with extra barbs though... at least they're not making me E-Mail them to ship me missing parts...

I want everyone that has ordered a Danger Den product and recieved it with missing parts to post here.

I cheer you on Danger Den for your nice looking parts, and good performance, I will continue to buy your products as long as they keep up with the performance.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones on the opposite end of the spectrum. I've ordered from Danger Den only once and have received more goodies than I had expected.

When I ordered a TDX water block from Danger Den, I specified the #4 accelerator nozzle. It arrived with a full set of accelerator nozzles without an extra charge. I guess the person processing my order opened a package of nozzles, took out the #4 nozzle for installation, and decided to send the remainder of the nozzle package to me. He also threw in the hex wrench used to open the water block.

Now that I've written this, Danger Den will make sure no future customer gets extra nozzles without paying.

Here's another tip about Danger Den you might be able to use. Danger Den makes many of their own fittings, such as the "Perfect Seal" fittings. You can order these fittings in raw brass before it is plated with chrome nickel. I'm soldering these raw brass fittings to a heater core. This is something you can't do with plated fittings. ;)

I've ordered from DD several times without issue.
In fact, all my dealings with them have been timely and smooth.
Have you contacted them about the problems you're having?

i got over $250 of stuff (6 items) shipped from DD to michigan (across the country) in 2 days with standard shipping. Thats service.

Of course, and I got the correct stuff mailed to me each time, I'm waiting on the 1/2" Perfect Seal fittings though, so I can install my pump and blocks.

Maybe they ommited the Maze 4 GPU mounts since they'd already sent them with the TDX...or maybe not ;)

Haha, that's what I thought when I recieved it, but I ordered from BigFootComputers...

I order all the watercooling stuff I can from Danger Den and I haven't ever had a problem. In probably seven or eight orders.

I ordered a MAG II - LE pump just last week and it arrived with one barb that was the incorrect size. Emailed them the day I got it (Tuesday the 18th) and supposedly they have sent the replacement via USPS but I have yet to recieve it. Thought theyd do it priority but I guess I have to wait for first class.

Talk about a let down, I have my entire setup ready to go but its held up by one stupid barb.

Lucky for me, it's been cool today, video card is idling at 43c, instead of 50c like it was yesterday...

I agree with the OP. My TDX came with M4 mounting nuts (too small for the rod they include!)... My maze came WITHOUT BARBS (I mean... cmon lol).

I went to HD and purchased the correct pieces to mount it myself, but to DD's Credit they DID send it to me, held up my build by a full week and a half though.

I have delt with them alot and have got everything I have ordered. hope your luck changes :)

Whoa.. you mean Home Depot.. they sell those same barbs that come with the blocks?

Very similar, however... They're down the "Master Plumber Aisle" hehehe. The threaded end isn't bored out perfectly circular, it has a octagontal opening.

I just picked up some barbs from Canadian Tire, they fit good, no leaks yet at least...

Ditto, I ordered a sli kit that came missing the backplates...

This is more fedex's problem but My order was shipped from OR and went straight to CO (where I live), and then to NM and now back to CO... Its three days late and I am still waiting... If my mag II LE doesnt come with barbs, as I have heard many of them are, I will be very very upset.
