well its been about 3 weeks since I put a danger den csp-mag pump in my system.. It's starting to make a rattling noise but this isn't the first time something went wrong.. After like a week it started making a rubbing noise, but i fixed that with a quick inspection of the inside.

So what do you guys think.. return this puppy or what.

i have the same pump in my system right now. the rattling noise went away after a couple of weeks and now it is very quiet.

the rattling is a known issue with this pump, but it is not usually an indication that the pump is about to fail.

Yeah, wierd. The rattling just went away, but I bet it will show it's ugly face again. Has anyone figured out what the problem is? Maybe I'll run a little more coolant in the system for some lube. Maybe I'll fill the whole thing with 5w40!

This freaking rattling has been going on for days, you sure it goes away? I'm going to give it another day, maybe the weekend, and then I'm getting a new one. Maybe a different one.

i swear it took 3-4 weeks for the rattle to go away.

if you cant wait that long, definitely dont buy another csp-mag.

oh really, that long... Did the rattling start right away when you got it, or did it take a while to kick in? I guess if it goes away then I'll keep it and see.. I like the pump a lot so it would be nice if it works out.
