Damaged LCD on laptop, any possible way to fix?

I need a cheap fix to a cracked beyond use lcd screen. Is there anything you can do?

Get the partnumber by going to partsurfer.hp.com and searching by the part number on the bottem of the notebook. You can get the display part number and the price from hp. Next check ebay and search online to find how cheap you can get it.

ya, 2 years ago some kid whipped his ID near me and missed and it hit the screen and it cracked and it started leaking. They shipped it back and they got the screen replaced.
