Hey guys,

I have an Acer Travelmate 3200 laptop with an ATI 9700 Radeon chipset. The only problem is that the idiots at Acer decided not to have an S-Video output or any TV-Output.

On newegg I caught sight of this little converter that converts Analog D-Sub to Component outputs. It says that the ATI Radeon 9700 is compatible with it. I was wondering, does anyone know if I can use this to hookup to my Sony Wega (Non HDTV)? My TV has component inputs but it is not an HDTV. Thanks guys.
 
It will work, as long as you have it converted to component video and hook it up to another component video, you'll be fine.
