Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I can't believe how many experienced hard forum users think that they can just skip the FAQ's.
"The first post in the worklog must contain images.."
Even if you just posted your sketched ideas or something, or a picture of your case currently.. I don't think you really need to save a spot.. that's kind of lame.
I'm assuming you're talking about Swiftech waterblocks right? Please note that the MCW5000 has diagonal barbs, making it easier to connect the tubing. The MCW6000 has straight up barbs, which puts the tubing straight up from there as well.
Could you show me some imagery of what you want the internals to be layed out?
my 5000 does not have the elbow fittings on it has the straight quickconnects on it, and with those connects its about 2 1/4 inch tall where as the 6000 is only 1 1/2 tall
and since the barbs are placed in a better postion on the 6000 it will be better for my setup
i dont have my card reader yet so i can not upload my pics yet
well you can call it a kink but its not really a kink its a small bend and it does not impede my water flow at all and i have installed cool sleeves to take the Kink out
It also looks like you need to do a better job of bleeding the water as it looks like you have a lot of air bubbles in the loop. Make sure you do a good job bleeding the kit when you refill the loop with the antifreeze/distilled water mixture. You dont want to run straight water for too long or you will start to get corrosion.
ha i was tired this morning when i checked on the loop, it looked like it was not moveing cause i did not see any bubbles at all. so i restarted and watched to make sure the water was moving sure enough it was
well today i should be getting the mesh for the front of the case and my new dremel so i can get started on some good moding
