I recently sold my system so I'm looking to try out Intel for my next system. I'm looking to do alot of multi-media (switching my DVD collection to DiVx,FRAPS,...etc..) with my next system. I had always heard that P4 were generally better for video encoding and also multi tasking aka Playing a Game and capturing w/ Fraps etc.. So I'm looking for advise as to what's the current king of price vs performance ratio? My last system I had an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 939 w/ Asus AN8-SLI Deluxe MB. So I'm prob looking for something in the same performance range. Also, I recently bought a G4 Quicksilver Case to Mod. So I'm limited to a Micro ATX MB so if anyone has any suggestions for MB to complement the new Chip I'd be appreciative.

the P4 520 is the best bang for buck, but you may wanna think about the 630, which is an extra 200MHz faster and 64 bit ready

checkout this thread for a list of mATX boards
