Since i'm sure quite a few of you here have CSS, i was just wondering what kind of FPS you're pullin'... either online or in the video stress test.

Use either cl_showfps 1 or net_graph 3 in the console.

VST i score an average of 88 fps.

Matches:
Aztec: High of 120, low of 60
Dust: High of 130, low of 70
Dust 2: High of 120, low of 60
Chateau: High of 120, low of 50
Italy: High of 120, low of 55-60
Havana: High of 110, low of 45-50
Office: High of 130, low of 60

And i didn't write down the others...

This is with everything high, reflect all, 2xAA and 4xQuality AF for trilinear textures.

System in sig...

I can only hope HL2 will run as good...

I'm assuming thats at 1024x768? Glad to see its performing so well for ya ;)

I get about the same numbers at 1600x1200, 2xAA 4xAF
 
Cool! Is that the BFG 6800?
I wanted that card :(... but i found my AIW 9700 for 250 bucks CDN... so i can't complain :)
 
I'm a framerate whore and I play at 1600x1200 0xAA 4xAF on 66.81 drivers with drops usually happening at spawn (when about 8 ppl are on screen.)

One time, though...

cl_showfps 1 shows that i was pulling 60+fps in both those shots.
It was a 6800 U at 440 core

I've got a bunch of guys at college that i play against all the time. The game is much funner when you know who you're shooting :)

@ 1600x1200, everything on high, AA 6x, AF 16x I get 100.63FPS

To tell you the truth I can't really tell the difference. I guess loading is faster. But it gets way better harddrive benchmarks.

well ata133 (standard) transfers at 133megs per second.. SATA transfers at 150... not a lot of difference there... your best bet to improve hd performance is to get a high rpm raid setup.
 
106 FPS at 1280x960 4xAA 8xAF all settings maxed out. P4 3.2E/1 GB PC3200/6800 GT @ 400/1.1.
 
6800ultra @ stock athlon 64 3200+@ 2.23ghz ,277HTT (fsb), 1:1 divider, 1 gig of pc3200@ pc3550 speeds

1600x1200 MAX aa and af
Quality in control panel and i get 85fps with my fsb @ 223 and 87fps @ 277. pretty decent for my system i guess :D
 
Yeah, but what is your fps when somebody tosses a grenade up the ramp from the water in the ruined mansion level, shattering all the wood in the wall and the ceiling? LOL.


Is pretty funny, anywhere on the level, EVERYBODY knows when a grenade hits that spot because it lags the entire server.


Everything maxed, 1920x1200, I average 60-120. Once I get sick of the graphics, I'll turn everything down except resolution and try to max fps.
