So twice now the audio has completely cut out during a competitive MM game in CS:GO. As you probably know this makes playing the game very difficult. When it happens, there is something about a buffer overflow in the console, and how the maximum number of streams has been reached. The console is also spammed with constant errors about how the audio cannot play, so fast that I cannot read it. Some quick google searches revealed others with the same issue, but no solutions except to "switch from 5.1 to stereo sound" in-game. Does anybody know anything about this? I'm assuming it's a general issue with the source engine...
