Hi guys,

I have a LG Flatron 915FT Plus CRT monitor that is about 3 1/2 years old. Just the other day it started going crazy on me. It makes a click sound from the back and then suddenly the resolution changes. The image becomes far too wide for the screen where the edges of the image extend way off the screen on the sides but not the top. It seems to correct itself with another clicking sound after a while. I have no idea what is going on here, so I am hoping that someone out there can help me out. Is it the monitor, or possibly the video card? The video card is probably closer to 4 years old and desperately needs to be upgraded anyhow. Anyhow, I need some advice from the computer geniuses! Let me know if you need more info. Thanks

I don't think its your video card. Sounds like your CRT is on its way out. Don't get it fixed because you could buy a new one for a little more money...

or u could ask someone you don't like to open her up and have a look. ;)
