Crossflow Fans

How do these work? do they blow air onto the hard drives or no?

They'll only blow onto your HDD if you buy a 5-1/4" to 3-1/2" mounting bracket and put them behind it.

These are just another way to get a little air into your system. Unless you're severly limited on front intake, it probably won't help much.
