If for example I Trifire 3 1GB cards, will that be like having a single 3GB card in terms of video memory available?
 
Nope, it'll be like having a single 1GB card. Each card's memory will basically mirror the others.
 
Why can't the VRAM be combined for use by the pair as a whole? What's the limitation?
