Couldnt really find any benches or anything.

Should I buy a 4870 1gig for Crossfire. Or a 4870x2 for Trifire?

Not sure if having 3 gpu's will work properly?.....why I am Curious.
 
go for the x2 just for kicks. last weekend i paired my x2 with a 4870 512 and it was fucked up. it was probably the whole array dropping down to 512mb of video memory, but there was no way for me to really determine how much memory was allocated to the 3 gpus. gpuz only indicated that it detected 3 chips in crossfire.
