Just received my 3570k in the post from Amazon UK. The retail box is unopened and the factory seals are still in tact. However, 5 of the 6 barcodes printed on a sticker on the box have been crossed out with a red marker pen.

I thought this was kinda weird, so the question is, is this normal? My concern is that the crossed out barcodes mean my chip is a refurb or something along those lines.

Thanks

red marker could mean anything. I would contact the seller and ask them why the marker is there...

Well we don't use a red marker on our bar codes for any reason. So I wouldnt worry about it being a refurbished processor (which we don't sell in the first place).
