I currently have a 80gb IDE WD hard drive, and over in the hot deals section I saw that Outpost.com has a "Hitachi 80GB Ultra DMA/100 Hard Drive" for sale reeeeaally cheap, and I was wondering if you can RAID together two same sized harddrives of different brands like this? My motherboard is as listed in my profile, a Biostar TForce4 Ultra. Thanks for the help
 
Can you? Sure.
Should you? Meh, not really, or so I've heard. Something having to do with the array being limited by the slower drive, I think it was.
