If I install the Creative Console Launcher 2.61.35 for my Creative Soundblaster Titanium sound card would I be able to adjust the treble for my Logitech z-5500 speakers using the SPDIF optical connection?

Right now I cannot through the Windows 7 control panel.
 
So it would not let me change the treble?

Because right now if I reconnect the analog connection I can adjust the treble through the windows control panel sound options but not when I reconnect the SPDIF optical connection.
