I have been getting CRC (Cyclic Redundancy check) errors when I try to install UT2K3 and I read from other threads to run memtest86 to check the memory. I am running it rightr now and it is on pass 14 with 30117 errors. Is this a lot and is there anyway that I can fix this? Is this the reason for the CRC errors?

That is too many errors to tolerate. While it's not nearly as bad some RAM can get, it should be RMA'ed. It is almost definitely the reason for your CRC errors.

CRC errors can also be caused by poorly reading CD-ROM drives during installs, but your RAM is certainly faulty.

With memtest, any errors over 0 and I consider the RAM either bad, or timings or memory clock are set too aggressively or beyond what the memory can handle.

Either check your mem settings, and if that doesn't work, RMA time.
