Wow...I got a 30-cap SL6WU Malay proc...which I've heard are pretty good OCers, but mine can't even do 250MHz FSB on a P4P800-E Deluxe with Kingston HyperX PC4000 2x512 RAM. I top out at about 230 or so, so I have a couple of questions:

1. Is there any way to coerce my mobo and proc to be stable at 250FSB? My mobo forces a divider above 200FSB, so I can't OC at all without getting utterly crappy RAM performance.

2. Is there any way to lock the divider at 1:1? I've heard that my RAM is supposed to be able to run at every integer FSB (like 217DDR, 219DDR), not just a fixed frequency of either 200DDR or 250DDR.

hmm

Id take a look at your motherboard options again

Because im pretty sure I remember the old p4p800 I had for a couple of days running at 255mhz FSB 1:1 with my kingston HyperX
