OCed it to 333 mhz fsb x9 = 3ghz and every other program reports it at 3ghz, it's benchmarking at 3ghz, but cpu-z says it's running at 333x6=2ghz. Something to be concerned about or just forget about it?

Disabled C1E/EIST?

Intel's "Speedstep" drops the multiplier and voltage of the processors when they're not under load, thus saving energy and lowering power consumption. When you run something that is processor-intensive, it'll bump the multiplier right back up to where it needs to be, when you're idling it'll drop the multiplier to the lowest option ( six ).

That's normal. It is a feature called speedstep or something. When you are not loading your cpu, it will run at a lower multiplier. load ur cpu & u will see the real speed in cpu-z

Thanks guys - that was it. I assume it can be disabled in BIOS if I so desire?
