CPU/Video Card Cooling suggestions

Hello all,

I am trying to look for a good CPU and Video Card Cooling solution. The Upper back near the Power supply is getting very hot and the computer locks up or restarts sometimes while playing Video games like PlanetSide and Call of Duty.

Currently I am using the following cooling:

Intel Stock CPU cooler
Damier Series ThermalTake Case (All fans are set as mfg recommends).
Vantec PCI slot cooler below the Video Card

I would like some ideas on CPU fans that would help the cooling. I do believe a majority of the heat is coming from the Video Card.

Thanks,

"All fans are set as mfg recommends"

huh?

crank thoes fans up if your using a controller

What directions are the side and rear fans blowing?

I agree, especially when gaming, you should have all your fans cranked if you have a heat problem, especially the blowhole and rear fans. (which should be both blowing out in that particular case, IMO)

The Damier case comes with:

1 80mm Fan as blow hole on top, air is being pushed out
1 90mm Fan in rear next to CPU lbowing air out
2 80mm Fans above PCI bus and CPU blowing air in
1 90mm fan in lower front blowing air in

Regards,
