I am currently running an i5 2500K with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007R21JJK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 as my motherboard. What I am wondering is if I can use a new CPU, for instance an i5 7600K, without upgrading my MB. No real budget target. Best bang for buck, but longevity and quality are certainly key factors. This is primarily a gaming machine.
