I'm torn with how to distribute my remaining funds on a sandy bridge rig. A quad core sandy bridge with a slightly lesser gpu, or a dual core sandy bridge with a more powerful gpu. I really can't decide.

What do you guys reckon is the best use of 450 to 500 bucks for gaming?

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming, Rift predominately
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included? 450 to 500, shipping and tax not included
3) Where do you live? Arizona
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
5) If Reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Thermaltake Mid Tower Case, Antec 500 watt PSU, 4gigs DDR3 1333, Optical Drive, Hard drive
6) Will you be overclocking? No
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have? 24 inch 1080p
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? This weekend
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Nothing but network and basic sound, this is a pc for gaming.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? Yes, windows 7 54 bit.
 
It appears that you can have both:

$390 - Intel Core i5 2400 & Sapphire 100314SR HD 6870 1GB combo
$110 - MSI H67MS-E43

I checked the recommended system specs for Rift beforehand and they don't seem too demanding.
