CPU MB RAM BUDGET $1000

Want to build new gaming PC. I will be keeping my ATX case, PC Power and Cooling 1000W PS, 4 WD Raptors (RAID 0+1), 2 GTX's(SLI), Auzentech X-Plosion and will be running 7 ultimate X64. Display is 30" Dell. 2 optical drives no floppy. I will overclock CPU/RAM but not Video cards. Will run on air.
Want the best MOBO( ASUS?), CPU(Intel i7?), RAM(8GB). Will my thermal right (LGA775) will work? Or do I need a new Heat sink too? Thanks in advance.
 
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
