I could do with some advice please. I have purchased an Asus P5E motherboard and intend to use a Thermaltake 120 Vx cooler which seems to be a good fit. The problem is that the fan header on the motherboard has four pins and the connector from the fan only three. I assume that if I use this arrangement I will not have a fan rotational speed in the Bios BUT with this affect the boot process? I could change the fan on the heatsink for a Silverstone which would be powered from a 4 pin Molex but it does have a separate cable for RPM info.
As I am deaf, noise does is not a problem!!
Any help would be much appreciated

Nigel
