CPU Diagnostic

There I am, with my PC opened, just doing my regular cleaning, took out all the components, yadda yadda yadda....when I realized that some of the pins on my precious 2.8Ghz CPU were bent
Never happened before....well, actually it did, but with my old 233MHz Chip and didn't care....but first time with my 2.8

Now, when I straightened them, to the best of my abilities, it still gave a bit of trouble to put in, but it went in eventually, with a slight nudge of pressure. I powered it on and the error came up
"CPU unusable or has been changed"
Went into BIOS, yadda yadda yadda and it boots and everything fine, no errors in BIOS or nuthin but I was wondering if there is a CPU diagnostic utility available that I can use to test the integrity of the chip
Now, I'm googling it, but any additional input would be appreciated.

Thanks
Johnathan

I've always thought a CPU either worked or it didn't. If you can run through some normal apps and games without a problem, it is fine.
