Hello, I'm looking for CPU cooler for LGA1156 and Core i5 750 processor. So far I've discovered Zalman CNPS10 Quiet, Extreme and Scythe Ninja Plus Rev. B. Which of these coolers would do its job best? Are there other alternatives? Please do not offer anything more expensive than CNPS10X Extreme. Thank you.

I've been doing some research in the last week looking for the same thing. You might want to consider the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus. Here's a review on FrostyTech. The chart on page 5 shows just how it stacks up against others, and the price is quite reasonable. I hope some others post their opinions here as I could use the information myself.

These guys used Noctua NH-U12P SE2 to OC i5 750 to 4.2ghz and I see is currently most popular HSF at NCIX so is what I bought for $79.99 CAD. Mounting was quite easy too but you need a fair size case if you want to use both fans it comes with. Comes with 2 120mm fans for push/pull method, 4 voltage adapter fan cables for 2 different voltages, 1 fan header splitter so you can use 2 fans on one mb fan header, and tube of Noctua paste that looks similar to Arctic silver paste. Mounting kit has parts for 1156, 1366 and AMD motherboards.
