Just wondering a couple of things about the X-Mod and laptop gaming.

Does the X-Mod offer EAX support? And if it does, what's the CPU hit on gaming sound over USB as opposed to a PCI bus?

Might want to see the thread I had on it about a week ago, it lasted quite a few pages.

I don't think it support hardware-game acceleration, creative stated no driver is required for installation so it is impossible to have openAL or Directsound3d hardware engines,

this behavior is similar to what i remeber USB SoundBlaster digital Music, windows can detect the card without driver can run the the sound but without creative application,
So, similar way for X-mod :D
