Ok i got this new machine to share internet connection with and wanted to install Steam and CS 1.6 (half-life1) im just wondering how well it will run on this system... here are the specs..

Intel Pentium 3 500MHz
256 PC100 SDRAM
10Gig 7200RPM Maxtor Hardrive
GeForce4 MX440 64mb SDRAM PCI
Yamaha PCI Sound Card
Windows 98se

Just wondering how well it will run half-life. Thanks.
 
it'll be playable as long as you don't turn anything on even though a gf4mx might as well not have any eye candy. My friend has that exact card though and it is playable in the 40-50's although his overall system is far superior to yours.
