i've been running prime95 v25.4 small fft's on my overclock for 11 hours now. Do you think you could consider my overclock stable or should I run it through the night as well and go for 24 hours?

that is stable.. now try large FTTS. you will see if ur ram can handle the load along with cpu :) if you can do 10 hrs + there your good to go.,

OHH i just noticed your overclocking Q6600 in prime95. You have to run 4x prime95 to consider stable. or 2 sets of orthos. You cant just run a single test.

The new version of prime95 automatically loads all of the cores for you. Its great.

Also, couldn't I just assume my memory is stable because it is still at stock? Since I have my fsb/ memory ratio unlinked or whatever in my bios, and my fsb is 1600, my memory is still at the stock speed of 800mhz.

still want to test your memory regardless. Just because your cpu can handle it. possibly your memory may not. still test for it :) doesnt hurt. and congrats on the oc so far :)

as we speak im trien for 3.6 on a C2D e6600. 23 min so far woo :D. Grats on your oc :)

well, as of this post, i've been prime95'ing my overclock @ 3.6ghz for about 21 hours. As of now, I guess i'm pretty confident that it's stable. Could I just run memtest to test my memory or would it be better to run the blend test on prime95?
