Well I had a corsair hx520 for 3 years and it blew a month ago. I submitted for an rma on Feb 28th and got an approval on March 1st. I took a few days to send it and when I did, I chose the slowest option from Canada to California so it took 2 weeks to arrive - Corsair received it on the 17th of March and notified me via email they did get it. They haven't updated the status of the rma since but yesterday I got home to a nice package - brand new (sealed in plastic) hx650 psu. All I sent in with my hx520 was the box it came in, they sent me a full retail packaged hx650 (new cables etc...). While it took them a couple weeks to process (understandable, I live in Canada) I am pleased they sent me a brand new psu and even upgraded it! :D

Would be nice if they had a depot in Canada I could have sent it to and it also would have been nice if they had updated the status of my rma to notify me it was coming, it made for a nice surprise and really I'm just nitpicking.

Also a plus - when my old psu quit, it didn't take anything with it - all my other parts still work fine. I used a corsair cx400 as a replacement while I waited for this one to come back in on RMA. If you're thinking about which psu to get, based on my experience corsair should definately be on your short list! :D

Loving my HX850. Considering a HX650 for my old rig seeing the Antec is whining at times while folding. I have an HDTV on layaway I have to deal with first. A whiny PSU is simply not enough to put off my new TV. (3 weeks and counting. Yay.)

The HX520 and HX620 are discontinued, so they're shipping HX650s as replacements for both of those models. Glad to hear you had a good experience :).

yep I can add to the mix. At one point my 620's fan was makin a very very low ticking noise you could only hear it when you had your ear to it. Well I called up corsair just to see if its normal etc. The rep set up an RMA right then and there, told me to just ship the PSU nothing else. I didn't even have to pay for shipping, the label was paid for. I ship it out and 3 days later I had a brand new sealed 620 on my doorstep. Awesome service.

How much was shipping from Canada?

Good experience with Corsair too..........my HX620 died after about 3 years.
RMA took about a couple of weeks to complete and got a new sealed in its box HX620.
Postage cost me a lot to RMA it though as I live in England.
