My CPU temps have become pretty high with the recent case switch....so i've looking into a different CPU cooler, when i came across the CORSAIR CWCH50-1. Its an interesting concept as far as a closed CPU water cooling kit goes, but i'm wondering if anybody has one or has any experience with them and if you can recommend a similar product.

This is going to be my first water cooling product if i do choose to go with it, and i feel its far less risky than doing a full water cooling loop (which i couldnt afford).

Thoughts?

[H] I believe has reviewed both the H50 and H70 and both got good marks from what I remember.

You should compare the two and see which is right for your application.

lol sometimes i forget im posting on one of the biggest technology communities out there and forget to check around.

Thanks!

I had the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 and swapped it out for the H50. It's at the least, equal to the Noctua!

I have my I7 950 at 4025MHz at the moment and it is currently idling at 34C. I get up to 50-55C when doing normal tasks like gaming. It will push 70C if I run P95 for any length of time.

I'm pleased with mine. I like the clean look vs a tower. It leaves my case wide open to do whatever needs doing were towers get in my way.

The next step is real water cooling but not quite yet. (Cost, and there are better things my money could be used for right now.)

I have a H50 and i like it. It worked better then my ccf with a push pull fan set up. the only problem i have had when i had a mid tower case was that it is sometimes hard to find a place to put that rad without putting too much pressure on the tubes connected to the block

The H50 is a great cooler. I had one myself but to be honest I love Air cooler so I sold it. It kept temps very well.

yes I know its smaller & everything but something about Air cooler & the Huge size of them has me hooked. Yo u can find H50's on the forums for 50-55 shipped if u go that way. I always buy new myself
