core names

wut are the names of ALL the processor cores?...including the oldest and newest?...amd and intel?

i m REALLIE curious and this has been eating at my mind because i started hearing about itanium and others and i m starting to think i might not know ALL the names of the processors

I'll throw in some:

Some AMD cores have been: Spitfire, Mustang, Morgan, Thunderbird, Palamino, Thoroughbred, and Barton, ClawHammer, SledgeHammer, Newcastle

Some Intel cores have been/will be: Katmai, Coppermine, Tualatin, Willamette (sp?), Northwood, Gallatin, Prescott, TejasMontecito...I believe there was also or will be Madison and Monticello

Well im not going to name ALL the cores lol. Stop being lazy and look yourself .

Willamette and Northwood are the Pentium 4 cores. Prescott and Teja are the upcoming Intel cores.

Thoroughbred and Barton are the Athlon XP cores. ClawHammer are the Athlon 64 cores.

San Diego and Winchester are the upcoming AMD cores.
