ive been reading a lot about how these are junk PSUs, but so far i have had no issues with this one. Is this just a time bomb? or are these just prone to a high failure rate and i got lucky?
if so, what would be a good replacement in the 700-750w range of atx 12v v2.0 PSUs?
also i am really looking for one with the modular wires

Until it's shown to be good, I'd pass on it. It's past does not exactly inspire confidence. It's not that you're lucky, it's just that most computers don't need anywhere close to that much power. If it's the stuff in your sig, the Corsair HX 520 is the best choice. Modular, cheap at ZZF after rebate, and more than plenty of power
