I put a lot of arctic silver 5 on one of my new computers, its been running for about like a month fine but i mean if i put a lot that doesnt hurt it right? i installed sandra and it says its at 33.5...
 
The only issue i've ever had from putting too much Arctic silver is that it is slightly conductive and once I smeared some and connected a couple of bridges on the amd chip. Had clean off with alcohol and q-tips. But if you booted, then no worries :)
