Cooling difference in radiator placement?

Is there any difference in performance between placing your radiator in back or in front?

I would make it an intake, because exhaust would mean warm air blowing through it which pretty much defeats the purpose of the radiator. I know the exhaust setup won't make it useless, but will probably raise your temps a few degrees

If your case temperatures aren't much about ambient, then putting it in the back would have very little affect on performance. But if your case is an oven it's obviously a bad idea to do that.

Me I'm going to get the MCB-120 from Swiftech and mount a Radiator outside the case in the rear, In cooler air than what's inside the case. And the Radiator will be the Black Ice Extreme II, which is about 274x133x47mm in size. Of course that means that I can't use the 1/2"OD -3/8"ID tubing hookup that is provided with the MCB-120, But then I've got 8' of 3/4"OD-1/2"ID tubing, I just have to make a pair of 3/4" diameter holes or One 1.5"x0.75" hole in the back of One of My 3-PCs.
