Greetings,

I am looking to purchase mounting hardware for a cooler master 212 heatsink I have (somehow, I lost my backplate for the heatsink). I found this on newegg:

I'm not too savvy with intel brackets as I've been rocking amd for the past few years. My question is, will the above bracket be compatible with this motherboard?>>

It's lga 1155, I'm not too sure if it's identical to lga 2011 hardware wise. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It's my understanding that Cooler Master made that bracket specifically so people could use their Hyper 212 coolers on the 2011 socket. That item is also just the bracket so, backplate is not included with it. Have you considered contacting Cooler Master directly for a part replacement? I can't imagine a replacement backplate costing much from them considering they will give people that own a Hyper 212+ or Hyper 212 Evo the 2011 bracket for free. Might be worth your time to give them a shout.
