Cooler Master has two new watercooling products on display at CeBIT; the Eisberg 240 and the Eisberg 120. As the product names suggest, these watercooling kits offer radiators with a size of 240mm and 120mm, respectively.

Both models offer a copper radiator that is designed to be used with two fans in push-pull configuration. Included in the kit is a waterpump from German manufacturer Eheim with ceramic bearings, it has a nominal operation speed of 1500rpm and a maximum speed of 3000rpm. The cooling fluid can be refilled and the kit uses standardized fittings so you can connect third-party components. Cooler Master says the included pump is powerful enough to simultaneously serve four CPU and four GPU cooling blocks.

The Eisberg 120 is expected to cost about 130EUR while the 240 edition should have a MSRP of around 140EUR. Availability is slated for late April, and Cooler Master added that a 360mm edition should follow afterwards.

We'll have to wait for some reviews to see how it performs, but it looks like a good kit that uses quality components and offers expandability. The photo's are courtesy of tweakers.net

Looks very well made. If the barbs are detachable with different length tubing options this will be the most dynamic self contained loop product to date.

This is not a self-contained loop. This is a full custom loop, most similar to Swiftech's All-in-ones. Coolermaster, however, opted to have the pump on the waterblock, like the Corsair and Antec units, instead of having the pump on the radiator, like Swiftech.

I like the idea of a pump and cpu block in one. I you can buy that separately and the possibility to mix different (other brand) radiators then they could have a winner product.

True dat. It's as if the Corsair H100 and Swiftech whatever-in-one had a baby... It would really suck if the pump died, though. Then you need to buy a whole new block, too.

Good concept and I like that the rads they use appear to have multiple options for fitting placement and that they are not sealed units.

I don't trust the self-contained products on the market. When I build I use it 3-4 years and then still want it to work after that if needed. With all the problems so far and the fact that they haven't been out on the market for long, we don't really know how long they'll last.

Since these Eisbergs uses 30mm thick Rads, for sure it will provide much higher cooling efficiency as
compared to Corsair's H100 and if reviewers from different Tech sites can prove this in any test and
benchies well, chances are Corsair will release a new product similar to these Eisbergs in order to
compete with now getting popular closed loop hi end water cooling systems.

- Good for us, bad for Corsair, Antec and CoolIT. :p

Except, the Swiftech units ship with a 35X pump that can be replaced if or when it wears out.

It's been 3 months and I haven't heard anything more about this unit...did it get canceled or what?

I'm considering grabbing one of these for my upcoming build if they're available. I've been wanting to go underwater for some time but there's a large initial buy-in and learning curve that's been scaring me off.

Looks like a good middle-ground between a legit custom loop and the sealed-loop coolers by corsair/antec.

dont mean to thread hijack or anything but is it possible to put a bigger radiator on to the Antec Kuhler H2O 620? or is it not worth the time and money

Probably about the same process involved as the mod in this thread. I would be careful doing this because you don't want it leaking and it voids the warranty on the cooler and the attached equipment IIRC.

Yeah it seems like their experiment didnt have a very happy ending, so i suppose ill keep it how it is, its just my nature to screw with stuff when its unnecessary haha

Yeah, it's probably better to just build a custom loop yourself or wait for these eisberg coolers to hit the streets.

Im tempted to, though it might have to wait, the whole finding a job for the summer thing isnt working out right now so im stuck with what i have haha

Looks like there is a website for this now. It looks like they might be putting it out next month if what is on the site is correct. Or this month if the you tube is to be believed.

I think it looks pretty good. The site says that it will be a sealed unit though.

The Eisberg Prestige is the new benchmark when it comes to CPU cooling. All metal parts of the in Germany designed Eisberg are made of pure copper and with the newly developed Jet Stream Technology it provides the best heat dissipation from the cooling-head to the radiator. The Eisberg Prestige 120 is a perfectly balanced water cooler, which can be mounted like a standard air cooler. The 240-version offers even more cooling performance because of the bigger radiator. Of particular interest to everybody who already has a water cooling system and is looking to complement their system is the Eisberg Prestige Single. The Single is ideally suited as well to develop a new efficient water cooling system with other components. All Eisberg versions will be pre-filled, sealed and tested in Germany to ensure durability and performance when the pump is installed.

It's not like those sealed Corsair or Antec units though. It just comes filled and sealed (so that it doesn't leak) from the factory so that you can mount it straight away without having to screw with anything. But it also has the capability of being taken apart and expanded.
